Hello All,

This is the first post since reshaping my blog, and I couldn't think of a better way to mark this new beginning than by sharing a truly magical day.

Rakesh, Sumit, and I had been planning this trip for weeks—a visit to Tokyo Disneyland before they head back to India. Mustafa was supposed to join us too, but he decided to rest and recharge rather than brave a full day of roaming.
We left Kawasaki around 9:00 AM and arrived at the park by 10:00 AM. The moment I stepped through those gates, words failed me. I was completely astonished. The beautiful architecture, the beloved characters, the music, the themed lands—it all pulled me straight back to childhood.
We knew it was impossible to see everything in one day, but we were determined to try. I'm usually not much of a thrill-seeker, but that day, I rode almost everything! We were incredibly lucky to be there during the 25th Anniversary celebration, and the parade featuring nearly every Disney character was the absolute highlight of my day.

We sailed on the river, climbed mountains, traveled to space, spun in teacups, experienced 3D films, got spooked in the haunted mansion, saw Captain Jack Sparrow's treasure, and ended the day mesmerized by the sparkling electrical parade with millions of lights.

Tokyo Disney Resort has two parks: Disneyland and DisneySea. I haven't visited DisneySea yet, so I'll save that for another time. But for Disneyland, here are a few tips that might help:

Cost: Tickets are 5,800 yen for adults (less for children and seniors). If you're at the NEC headquarters in Japan (like me), you get a 400 yen discount per person!

Fast Pass Strategy: As soon as you enter with your ticket and map, head to one major attraction and get a Fast Pass. The regular lines can be very long, and this way, your waiting time overlaps with your next reservation. It's a game-changer!

My Moments: Click the photo above to see most of the attractions we experienced.

Until next time,
